“I’ve always felt at home in the mountains. When I moved to Colorado in 2003, I knew this was where I belonged. The vast mountains, endless hiking trips, and ɓ?eαᴛҺᴛαҡι̇п? vistas are something I cherish. But what I miss the most from my Michigan roots is water. I grew up by a lake and spent most of my summers swimming, and I miss the water. It became apparent to me when I did an underwater maternity photoshoot last year. Since then, I’ve wanted to incorporate underwater photography to offer to postpartum, pregnant, and postpartum clients. It’s ʍα?ι̇ᴄαℓ to see a baby cradled by its mother in an herbal bath – both above and below the water. I particularly enjoy using underwater photography during labor and birth, witnessing a mother’s ɓeℓℓყ contracting underwater. I offer Mermaid sessions for pregnant mothers as well as postpartum herbal baths.”
