The Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) is a ѕрeсіeѕ of lizard found in the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang, and Padar. It is the largest living ѕрeсіeѕ of lizard, growing up to 3 meters (10 feet) in length and weighing as much as 70 kilograms (150 pounds).
