For 13 years, the Settle family has experienced continuous blessings in the form of bouncing baby boys. However, Carter Louise Settle has defied tradition, astonishing the entire family with her unexpected arrival.
This adorable little sweetheart marks a significant milestone as the first female born with the Settle surname in over a century. Breaking a five-generation streak of male births, the entire family is overjoyed with the addition of their beautiful baby girl.
To commemorate this special occasion, they proudly display their happiness on a billboard!

Kelen Settle, aged 36, and her 38-year-old husband, Will, found themselves in disbelief as they witnessed not only the arrival of their baby girl but also a remarkable public announcement. The billboard, prominently placed along the main highway near their South Carolina residence, was a thoughtful gesture from Will’s proud colleagues.

“Will works for an outdoor advertising company, so when she was born they snagged one of the photos off Facebook and made this billboard,” Kelen says. “It is absolutely гіdісᴜɩoᴜѕ. It was a fun surprise.”
Wow moment
Carter’s birth is indeed as significant as the billboard indicates. She holds the distinction of being the first female born with the Settle surname in an incredible 137 years.
Kelen expresses, “It was an absolute wow moment. I think it’s going to be cool for her. It’s a little fun fact.”
Carter will be surrounded by a wealth of male figures in her life, including her older brother, Rowan, from Will’s previous marriage, along with cousins and uncles who will be there to look out for her.
