Bundle of Joy: A Larger-Than-Life Arrival – Mother Welcomes 11-Pound Baby Who Ьгeаkѕ the Mold in Tiny Newborn Clothes

A mother in Berkshire was astonished after giving birth to an 11-pound 5-ounce baby, making her the heaviest newborn at the hospital this year. Grace, 38, from Berkshire, shared that her delightful daughter, Annie, was initially estimated to weigh 8 pounds 13 ounces but turned out to be much larger, resembling the size of a nine-month-old baby. Proud mom Grace recounted that Annie arrived four months ago through a planned C-section at 37 weeks.

“I anticipated that she would be substantial, but I had estimated around 9 pounds 2 ounces,” the full-time mother expressed.

“They placed her in my arms, and brought the scales over to weigh her next to me.”

“She also holds the title of being the heaviest baby born at the hospital so far this year.

Grace revealed that both her boyfriend and the hospital staff at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey were surprised when they saw Annie’s weight.

“We were all taken aback when she went on the scales. She’s just beautiful. My partner was just gobsmacked; he knows growth scans can be a bit off, so he guessed that she’d actually be about 8 pounds 12 ounces. We both kept laughing and just looking at her.”

They recounted the experience of a mother whose child was born the size of a toddler, three times larger than other infants, and necessitated clothing typically worn by a three-month-old. In unconventional parenting news, he makes his own dinner from scratch – chopping vegetables and boiling pasta – but insists it’s not dangerous.

They generously donated all of her newborn clothes to the hospital, and, as you can see, they couldn’t even fasten the top popper.

Grace is also the mother of Oliver, 10, and Albert, six, who were born significantly lighter at 8 pounds 10 ounces and 8 pounds 4 ounces, respectively. Grace claims that she already has three children, the latest of whom will be Annie.

She jokingly remarked, “Definitely no more children… I would dread to think how much the next one could weigh, and I think I’d quite like to get back to losing weight.”
