Paula was always interested in photography and began working in her father’s studio when she was barely 16, following the tradition of her father, brother and grandfather are all photographers.

In February 2001, Paula welcomed Ingrid in to the world, she invited her father to take pictures of the birth. When browsing through the images a few days later, she felt a gush of powerful emotions and she knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life making other parents feel the same. “I am very happy and fulfilled. Each birth brings a different eʍoᴛι̇oп,” she said.

Paula took her first delivery room picture in October 2004 and hasn’t looked back since.

She explained that she works all hours of the day since a baby can arrive at any time, but that she is very happy and fulfilled’ by her profession and that ‘every delivery brings a different eʍoᴛι̇oп.’
