Our dedicated rangers in Laikipia, supported by the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, sprang into action when they encountered a ɗι̇?ᴛ?e??eɗ Elephant cow and her calf.
A ᴄ?υeℓ wire snare had ensnared her right front limb. Thanks to the rapid response of the KWS Mt. Kenya Vet Unit stationed in Laikipia, coupled with the expert care provided by Dr. Poghon, the Elephant received prompt ʍeɗι̇ᴄαℓ attention.
We are delighted to share the heartwarming news that both the mother and calf are making remarkable strides towards recovery, all thanks to the remarkable teamwork and dedication of these champions of wildlife conservation!
